This 30-minute video series introduces new users to the concepts and functions that they need to understand to work effectively in RapidResponse. The videos show how to sign in, navigate, find and understand information in reports, and print or export that information. Tools for communication, collaboration, and simulation are introduced. This course provides a foundation for all users to build on as they acquire whatever specialized RapidResponse skills they need, and it is a prerequisite for all other RapidResponse training.

  • Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites. This is the starting point for RapidResponse training.

RapidResponse - Contributor Level 1 Certification Preparation Workshop

This workshop will prepare candidates for the RapidResponse Contributor certification exam. Students must have a basic knowledge of RapidResponse 2016.2. It builds on the Introduction to RapidResponse videos and provides a review of the core capabilities, features, and functionality of RapidResponse. The workshop will review the skills to navigate in RapidResponse, and how to select the appropriate resources with the correct parameters to obtain desired information, manage scenarios, edit data, and to collaborate with others.

RapidResponse - Working with Scenarios

This one day course provides a foundation for all users to build on as they acquire the specialized RapidResponse skills they need, and it is a prerequisite for all other RapidResponse Applications, Authoring, and Administration training. It builds on the Introduction to RapidResponse videos and provides a more in-depth look at the core capabilities of RapidResponse.

Through hands-on exercises and generic business-focused content, you will learn how to:

  • Create scenarios in order to assess the impact of changes before executing those changes
  • Collaborate with colleagues and manage scenarios to track changes to data and to determine best solutions
  • Monitor data using alerts to receive automatic notifications of data changes and create custom filters to view only the data you are interested in
  • Perform complex editing in order to use scenarios in a variety of situations and to increase the opportunity for experimentation
  • Implement perspectives to perform repetitive or routine analysis without impacting standard planning calculations

RapidResponse - Demand Planning and Statistical Forecasting

This course introduces the resources and tools to assist Demand Planners in creating statistical forecasts, maintaining forecast integrity, and facilitating the consensus demand planning process. They will learn how to modify and manage forecast items, as well as cleanse historical data. They will review the performance of the forecasts from previous cycles in order to make any necessary adjustments to improve the accuracy of future forecasts.
